 Hospice of North Alabama was founded in 2004 as an organization providing quality end of life care to terminally ill patients and their families. At Hospice of North Alabama, we believe we have an obligation to minister to the diverse needs of the patients physically, psychologically and spiritually.The purpose of our hospice program is to provide support and care for people in the final phase of a terminal illness, so they can live life as fully and as comfortable as possible. Hospice of North Alabama believes that through personalized services, patients and families obtain the necessary education and skills needed to be prepared for end of life care. Hospice of North Alabama has local Medical Directors, RN's, Hospice Aides, Social Workers, Chaplains and Volunteers in each of the areas we serve. The comfort of the patient is the most important goal of our hospice staff. We recognize the importance of relief for the caregiver and family as the patient's needs escalate. Hospice of North Alabama's interdisciplinary approach keeps the entire team aware of the needs of the entire family. |
